Does your class or school want to help with Hurricane Katrina relief? This section offers tools and tips for getting your class or your entire school involved in Quarters From Kids.

You can help your students tap their power to help others around the world. This campaign is rooted in a deep faith in our young people including all of our students from every background. As your students and other young people across America learn how they can help they will choose to take responsibility to help others through their generosity, hard work, and leadership.

We can let our students know that we have high expectations for what each of them is capable of learning and achieving. That includes high expectations that every child and young person can lead and help others. The Quarters From Kids campaign is one way to help enable every student achieve his or her potential, achieve excellence in what they to, become a leader, and experience that their actions make a big difference in the world.

Become a partner at this time of national tragedy, you can get your children involved in making a difference.

Getting Kids Involved
As a first step, direct kids to this website! Quarters From Kids is about kids in action. We want to support tsunami relief and teach children how they can be a part of the effort. Every quarter raised will go to the Quarters From Kids Relief Partner organization of their choice.

Please remember to consult with your principal or school district to ensure that your Quarters From Kids project is consistent with state and local educational policy. In many communities for example, school principals and teachers should not ask their students to directly hand their own donations to a school employee. Using a collection box instead can help students pool their donations without fear of being evaluated by a teacher on how much (or whether) they donate.
