Quarters From Kids is offering young people (and adults too) the opportunity to donate to help the survivors of Hurricane Katrina and to rebuild New Orleans and devastated communities in Lousiana, Mississippi, and Alabama.
Do you want to help?
The best way to help is to raise funds for relief efforts.
To learn a bunch of ways to raise funds and to see what other kids are doing, click here.
Collect every quarter, nickel, dime, or dollar that you can.
Use your allowance. Ask your family and friends to give you a quarter (don't forget to say please). If you find a quarter on the floor, you can use that too.
Did you collect $5 or more? If you did, you're ready to give your donation to a relief partner, so move to the next step. (Did you know that $5 can buy enough medicine to keep one child healthy for 3 months?)

Once you've raised funds, you can:
- Donate online right from this page. When you click a relief partner link below, you'll be led to a special donation page for the charity you choose. If you're contributing through Quarters From Kids we'll be able to count how many kids are joining the DELETE "tsunami" AND ADD "Hurricane Katrina" relief effort.
- Give Via Coinstar - Choose the American Red Cross, and donate your contribution at your nearest Coinstar® coin-counting machine.
- Send your donations directly to one of the groups listed below. Click here for the form you'll need to make sure your funds are accurately recorded. It's easy -- ask your parents to help fill the form out, attach a check or money order (please don't send cash), and mail it to the organization you choose.
